QuickOB Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines the data protection practices of QUICKOB.com, owned by QUICK QORE Inc. and its affiliated companies (collectively referred to as “QUICKOB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to all websites and mobile applications owned and operated by us that link to this Privacy Policy, as well as related online and offline services (collectively, the “Services”).

QUICKOB offers web-based software solutions designed to link businesses (“Employers”) seeking to fill job positions with our extensive network of job and shift seekers (“Seekers”). This policy clearly distinguishes between Seekers and Employers to clarify the different scenarios in which we may collect, use, or share personal information.

When Seekers use our Services to complete job applications, onboarding documents/forms for specific Employers, or communicate directly with Employers (“Employer Direct Engagement”), we act as a service provider or processor for these Employers. Employers are responsible for deciding how they interact with Seekers through our platform and thus determine the purposes and methods of handling Seeker data for Employer Direct Engagements. In these situations, Seekers should review the privacy policies of the respective Employers carefully, as QUICKOB is not responsible for the Employers’ privacy practices.

Conversely, when Seekers create profiles and utilize our related services independently, QUICKOB.com functions as the primary business entity rather than a service provider…

Please read this Privacy Policy thoroughly to understand how we manage your information. By using QUICKOB Services, you explicitly and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, which permit us to process your information.

If you are a California resident and wish to view a summary of the privacy disclosures relevant to you, please click here for our California Privacy Notice.

We may also collect this information when you interact with emails or other communications we send.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by web servers to store basic information and help websites and apps recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies (which disappear after you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain and may be accessed each time you use our Services). A Session cookie disappears after closing your browser. Tracking pixels (or web beacons/clear GIFs) are tiny electronic tags embedded in websites, online ads, or emails designed to collect usage information like ad impressions, clicks, and email open rates. They measure the popularity of our Services and associated advertising and access cookies.

We and our vendors (including Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) use these technologies and the information collected for advertising and data analytics. For more information about Adobe’s practices, visit adobe.com/privacy/experience-cloud.html. For details on Google’s analytics practices, visit google.com/policies/privacy/partners

We collaborate with business partners, service providers (such as payment processors, survey providers, and analytics companies), and researchers who perform services on our behalf. These partners may have access to information about you that we might not have (e.g., when you sign up directly with or engage with them). They may share some or all of this information with us. Additionally, we may receive results from background and identity verification checks.

If you prefer not to share this information, do not use social network log-in options to access our Services. For details on how social networks handle your information, please review their privacy policies and Terms of Use, which may allow you to adjust your privacy settings.

To do this, our technology partners may disclose data such as browsing patterns, geo-location, and device identifiers, and will match the information of the browsers and devices that appear to be used by the same person.

3. Online and Mobile App Advertising

A. Online Advertising

We may permit third-party advertising technologies (e.g., ad networks and ad servers like Google’s ad services, among others) to operate on our Services. These technologies use cookies and similar methods to present relevant and targeted advertisements to you on our Services and other websites or applications you use. The advertisements you see may be based on factors such as the content of the page you are visiting, the information you provide, and your search and browsing activities. These ads can be tailored to your interests, whether based on your current activity or your activity over time and across different websites and online services.

The placement of cookies or other tracking technologies on your devices by non-affiliated third parties is governed by the privacy policies of those third parties. For more information on tailored browser advertising and how to manage cookie settings to prevent tailored advertising, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link. To opt out of Adobe Audience Manager, visit Adobe's opt-out page. To opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or to customize Google display network ads, visit the Google Ads Settings page. To prevent Google Analytics from using your data for analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. To manage your cookie settings and receive notifications when a cookie is being set or updated, or to disable cookies altogether, consult your web browser settings. Note that disabling or deleting cookies from us may result in missing certain features of our Services.

For additional options to opt out of targeted advertising activities under applicable law, refer to the “Your Rights and Choices” section below.

Please be aware that these opt-outs are specific to each browser and device, meaning you will need to opt out on each device and each browser on each device you use to access our Services. Furthermore, these opt-outs do not apply to advertisements in mobile applications. Refer to the “Mobile App Advertising” section below for instructions on how to opt out of mobile app advertising.

B. Mobile App Advertising

We may engage third-party service providers to display ads on other mobile applications or to conduct mobile app analytics based on your interactions with our platform. Each mobile operating system (iOS for Apple devices, Android for Android devices, and Windows for Microsoft devices) offers specific instructions on how to prevent the use of advertising identifiers for personalized in-app advertisements. Since we do not control how each platform operator manages the receipt of tailored in-app advertisements, you should consult the support materials and/or the settings on your device for the respective operating systems to learn how to opt out of the use of your advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.

C. Notice Regarding Do Not Track

Do Not Track ("DNT") is a privacy setting available in some web browsers. While we are dedicated to offering you meaningful choices about the information collected on our website for third-party purposes, as described through various opt-out mechanisms, we do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated DNT signals. To learn more about Do Not Track, please refer to relevant resources. It is important to note that Do Not Track is different from the user "preference signal" mentioned in the "Your Rights and Choices" section below. The preference signal is a browser-based control indicating whether you wish to opt out of the processing of your information for specific purposes, such as the "sale" of your information or the sharing of your information for targeted advertising, as required by applicable laws.
